LOCATION: Bowmanville SALARY: $18.00 - $19.00 TERM: Permanent

Durham Recruiting has an Accounts Receivable / Admin role available with our down to earth and very successful company in Bowmanville. We are looking for a “Jill or Jack of all trades” in the office. We need someone with a passion for AR & AP but who also has the want to learn more ie – helping out with administration / Health & Safety or General HR.

Our client has built a reputation with their HVAC company for excellent customer service, reliability and consistency. They service and install HVAC systems throughout Southern Ontario for both new build homes and commercial properties.

Monday – Friday 7:30 to 4pm  or 8 to 4:30 (some flexibility on Start Times)

$18 to $19 to start – depending on industry experience – lots of room for growth in both responsibilities and salary (paid weekly)

The Role:

  • Your main responsibility in the beginning will be full cycle Accounts Receivables – this company uses Sage Accounting
  • From there your role will grow to include the potential following
  • Accounts Payable
  • Health & Safety – being a part of the Committee / setting up yearly training / compliance
  • Administrative Duties – Reporting (using excel)
  • Taking an Excel Course in order to use Sage / Excel to their advantage and help with functionality
  • Helping to choose and implement a new software geared towards the Construction industry
  • Invoicing / PO’s / Contracts

What We Need From You:

  • Outgoing, positive and a team player to the core
  • 8+ Year in a similar role with a passion for learning new things and growth in the workplace
  • Full knowledge of Accounting procedures and principles
  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel – with the willingness to take courses to become an expert in Excel
  • Knowledge of Sage Accounting is preferred but not necessary
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
