Durham Recruiting is looking for an experienced and customer service focused I.T Support / Technician for our valued client here in Durham. Based out of Oshawa our client is growing at a very steady pace year over year and is looking to add another quality I.T Technician to their team.

The Role in a Nutshell:  

  • Assembling, repairing and upgrading computer workstations and laptops
  • Tech support calls, resolving tech issues over the phone and through remote access
  • Once comfortable with our clients policies and products your role will grow with your capabilities and passion within the I.T space
  • Some onsite client visits – again once trained and within your expertise – for some daily onsite visits are possible, all will depend on comfortability / expertise

What We Need From You

  • Great can do attitude, ability to work in a team and enjoy collaborating with a team to get the problem solved
  • 3+ years in a similar role
  • Ability to research answers for those tough to solve problems
  • Degrees and Certificates will be acknowledged but are not mandatory
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends for potential client emergencies
  • Excellent communication skills, excellent command of the English language both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills and the patience to work with those outside of the I.T Industry
